Having applied our skills and built networks on an international scale, we are now channeling that expertise into a local initiative. We want to create meaningful impact right here in our own community, because we have seen how powerful it can be when a community comes together.

We know there’s so much untapped potential in Luton, especially among our young people. Too often, they don’t get the opportunities or support they need to dream big, whether that’s in their careers, education, or just figuring out what’s out there. We want to change that.

Ibraheem
I’ve worked in education, the civil service, engineering, and also in financial services as a technologist - at organisations such as Visa, Lloyds Banking Group and EY. I run a local business and I’ve also run global community initiatives, specifically focusing on empowering underrepresented founders to build impactful products. Now, I am looking to contribute closer to home.

The Team

Maryam
I’m a policy advisor with experience at the Bank of England, HM Treasury, and the EU and USA Treasuries. My work spans UK economic strategy and widening access programs for underrepresented students. As a Training Officer at FEMYSO, I’ve developed leaders across 30+ European organizations. For over seven years, I’ve been a radio host at Inspire FM, advocating for the Luton community.

Taz
I lead multimedia content production at easyJet, creating media seen across the business and at C-suite level. My route in was not traditional: I am self taught and deliberately moved into creative work, building my skillset from the ground up. I also worked at Tesla, where a fast-paced environment shaped my approach. Now, I operate as a one-man creative function, leading end-to-end production on major campaigns and events. I’ll use that skillset to support and elevate the community by bringing ideas to life through high quality content.

Yoz
I’m a Chartered Accountant with experience at PwC, where I worked with clients generating revenues of up to £1bn across multiple industries. I currently work at Monzo within the EU Finance team, supporting expansion into European markets. Alongside my career, I’ve also been involved in building businesses from the ground up. I’m keen to bring this experience back to the community and contribute to something with long-term impact.
